Hello, for online privacy purposes you can call me Sakiyu. I have recently graduated with my associates degree in Graphic Arts from a Technical Collage. Originally I wanted to go into the field of animation, however, because I didn't have much money to move I chose to pursue Graphic Design. I enjoy learning and am pursuing animation in my freetime among other things.
I have always loved art and growing up much of my style has been derived from Japanese style Anime but have branched out as I went through high school and collage. My inital drive to pursue a career in the art field came from watching movies created by Hayao Miyazaki. I find his works both incredibly gorgeous and inspiring thus encoraging me to follow my dreams. I hope to one day become really good at animation through self learning or be able to take a course to learn more efficently. I like using my pen name Sakiyu Momochi because I think it's fun and I like going by my my alter ego online. I find that I can work very well under pressure, and I'm also an organized individual. I have a good eye for detail and I try to get along with everyone. I have broad experience from projects in school as well as freelance work. I have a strong dedication and drive to work hard and to achieve my goals.
Whenever I have free time I like to spend it with friends, see my family, draw, watch anime, play tennis, or game. I find inspiration in all of my interests so when I'm stuck I always know I have something to turn to and will help me get out of my rut. I hope to take up a martial art or form of self defense in the future and becoming a healthier person overall.
